Tide Is Out.......

Tide is out
where does it go -
The St. Croix River
is on the flow.
Six hours in
and six hours out -
many hours to play
without a doubt
Sun is rising -
clouds long gone
as I am singing -
my morning song
Undertow lost
the river is still -
till the Bay pushes back
with its mighty will
Enjoy this time
as only you can -
for six hours later
it'll start again.

You wrote that poem, Saucy? It's great! And it sure is nice to see the pictures of the difference in high and low tide. Hope you have a fine day, my friend. :-)

Such a pretty poem, Saucy and lovely images. Being in such a place would make anyone forget their problems!

For a prairie guy, I got to live on the coast for two years. Tides were fascinating. Where I was in the north of Quebec there were very high tides.

HAhaha! That's a GREAT poem! It wouldn't work where I sometimes am downunder, though - we're one of only 3 places in the world to experience 'Dodge Tide'!
