Cannon @ St. Andrews Blockhouse
Celebration Avec Le window........
July 1st marks the 145th Anniversary of the 1867 enactment of the British North America Act, which then united Canada into a country which had four provinces. Canada today, consists of ten Provinces and Three Territories - Northwest, Nunavit and the Yukon.
Our very own Mounted Police n "Musical Ride"
A must see if the opportunity arises :)
The name Canada comes from an Iroquoian First Nation and Native American language family word, which means "Village", KANATA (pronounced KAN-AT-A), that French explorers used to call the area currently known as Quebec City.
145 years and looking GREAT :)
